Black River Technical College (BRTC) has awarded Kate Whitlow of Pocahontas the Proventus Scholarship in Memory of Cecil Stern.
Whitlow is a 2024 high school graduate and is seeking a degree in nursing. She is the daughter of Dena and Scott Whitlow of Pocahontas.
The Proventus Scholarship in Memory of Cecil Stern funded by Proventus is made possible through the 2025 BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament headlined by Proventus. The 4-Star sponsorship package enables donors to offer a $1,000 scholarship to a BRTC student the following fall.
