Black River Technical College (BRTC) has awarded Amanda Smith of Pocahontas the First National Bank of Commerce Scholarship.
Smith is a 2003 graduate of Pocahontas High School and is seeking a degree in nursing. She is the daughter of Angie French of Pocahontas and Dean Smith of Pocahontas. She has two children, Brooklyn and Kennedy.
The First National Bank of Commerce Scholarship funded by First National Bank of Commerce is made possible through the 2025 BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament headlined by Proventus. The 4-Star sponsorship package enables donors to offer a $1,000 scholarship to a BRTC student the following fall.
