Emma Bergman has been recognized as Black River Technical College’s (BRTC) Outstanding Alumni for 2026. The recognition is nominated and voted for by BRTC faculty and staff, and then is awarded by Arkansas Community Colleges (ACC).
Bergman earned a Certificate of Proficiency for Health Professions, Nursing Emphasis, in 2018; a Technical Certificate for Practical Nursing in 2019; and an Associate of Applied Science for Registered Nursing in 2020.
Since graduating from BRTC, Emma has launched multiple agriculture and retail businesses. She has The Little Blue Market, a local farmers market and café; Knotts Creek Farms, a Vital Farms egg contractor; and Bergman Farms, a livestock and hay operation managed alongside her husband.
Along with running multiple businesses, Emma is also known for always giving back to her community. Not only does she provide area farmers and vendors with retail outlets, she also gives through sponsorships, donations, and volunteer work. Emma is also an active member of the Skaggs Church of Christ. She is married to Luke Bergman and they have two children, Bonner and Lily.
