Black River Technical College is seeking an individual for the position of Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT) Program Instructor. The BAT Program Instructor is responsible for teaching impaired driving enforcement classes, conducting impaired driving enforcement campaigns, maintaining BAT Program equipment, traveling and working with multiple law enforcement agencies, The position is provisional, and based on grant funding through the National Highway Traffic Administration and the Arkansas State Police Highway Safety Office
This position is governed by the Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training as applicable by State and Federal regulations and in accordance with the institutional policies of the College.
Requirements:
Education requirements are an equivalent of an Associate Degree (Bachelor’s Degree Preferred); CLEST Certified Law Enforcement Officer with a minimum of five years experience; CLEST Certified Law Enforcement Instructor.
A valid Arkansas Commercial Driver’s License is required or must be attained within first year of employment.
Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
