Black River Technical College (BRTC) is pleased to announce the selection of Ashley Boles as BRTC’s Law Enforcement Training Academy (LETA) Director.
Boles, a native of Batesville, has been employed at BRTC’s LETA for 11 years as the Breath Alcohol Testing (B.A.T.) Program Coordinator. Prior to that, he was the Second Judicial District Juvenile Division Supervisor for 16 years. Boles has a B.A. in Criminology from Arkansas State University.
“My top priority is to make sure officers who graduate from BRTC LETA always remember that the position they hold in their communities is an honor and a privilege, and it should always be treated as such,” Boles said. “I also intend to make sure that the training we provide to officers who graduate allows them to greatly exceed the minimum standards as set by the Arkansas Department of Law Enforcement Standards and Training.”
Boles has been married to his wife, Kassie, for 31 years. They have two daughters, Eden and Lila, and are active members of Brookland Baptist Church. They reside in Jonesboro.
