Adult Education Finance and Special Projects Coordinator

Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Adult Education Finance and Special Projects Coordinator with the home office located in Pocahontas. Some raveling to towns in the counties of Clay, Greene, Lawrence, and Randolph will be required. Some overnight travel will also be required for training and professional development. This position may require evening or weekend hours. The is a full-time, twelve-month position. This is a grant funded position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Adult Education Finance and Special Projects Coordinator will assist the Director of Adult Education and the Assistant Director of Adult Education in the areas of posting expenditures and preparing reports, examining and verifying expenses, and posting salary expenditures.  The Coordinator will also be responsible for entering and verifying data in the LACES data system, running reports, verifying accuracy of data and administering TABE and mobile GED tests.  In addition, they will complete any professional development needed as determined by the Adult Education Division.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Knowledge and experience using: Excel, MS Office, data management systems, and online assessment programs., The candidate must have the ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and communicate with students enrolling or participating in the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The applicant must have a bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, finance, or related business field.
